Thirty dinosaurs are being let loose in Osterley Park this April – The Jurassic Kingdom experience are launching their UK tour in London from the 1st to the 17th before heading to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Leeds and Glasgow.
There will be over thirty impressive installations of animated dinosaurs with electronic moving parts and roaring sound effects throughout the park including Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, Spinosaurus, Carnotaurus, Pteranodon, Triceratops and of course Tyrannosaurus rex.
T-Rex Excavation Scene
Children will be in awe of these dinosaurs as they wander through Jurassic Kingdom but the highlight for younger children will be a hands-on educational activity where children will have a rare opportunity to dig up dinosaur bones in an excavation scene! Deep beneath the sand lie T. rex bones which have to be unearthed to reveal the full fossil.
There will be an education marquee for school groups and families to enter and watch educational documentaries about dinosaurs produced by the BBC on a large projection screen. Children and adults alike will enjoy a 30-min viewing experience and learn more in-depth information about how dinosaurs lived millions of years ago.
Virtual Reality Experience
Step inside the world of Virtual Reality. The newest technology pulling you into a whole new immersive world and no doubt will be one of the highlights of the event.
For a small additional fee visitors will have the opportunity to hire Virtual Reality headsets with simulator chair. Visitors can choose from a handful of dinosaur related digital experiences which last between 3 – 5 minutes depending on the game chosen.
The festival also has a handful of street food and drink vendors to stay fed and watered through Jurassic Kingdom. A range of educational and entertaining branded merchandise will be available for purchase within the retail marquee.
The event is open daily from 10am to 6pm with last entry at 5pm. Make sure to book tickets.
