Dinosaur gases ‘warmed the Earth’

A study of the flatulence of sauropods, estimated by extrapolating the findings from cows has suggested that the methane produced (equivalent to the amount of methane currently produced by both cattle and human industry) may have contributed to the warm climate of the time. Studies have suggested that the climate was 10 degrees warmer in the mesozoic than at present.
