Dinosaur-Era Insects Frozen in Time During Oldest Pollination

Scientists have detailed the first recorded discovery of pollinated insects in Amber, described in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Thrips have been discovered dusted in pollen dating from the lower Creaceous when flowering plants were just starting to diversify. This is the earliest evidence of plant pollination.
